The Wine Pub’s Melissa Stoltz is helping residents connect with the tradition of pasta making–all with wine of course.
Beginning on Sunday, December 3, Melissa will host a small, intimate pasta making class. Attendees will arrive around 5 p.m. to make large batches of pasta with ingredients straight from The Wine Pub’s kitchen. After class, Melissa will cook up everyone’s pasta to enjoy with wine on the restaurants intimate patio. This class is perfect for a date night or girl’s night out!
Stoltz’s pasta passion was born after a day perusing Barnes & Nobles’ cooking book collection. After spending months making pasta for her daughter and boyfriend at home (and loving it!), she was offered a job at Cucina Urbana. Working hours underneath the kitchen’s pasta girl, Melissa was hooked. She spends hours every day producing close to 60 pounds of pasta a day. According to Melissa, “it’s more about the experience of making pasta, meeting people and sharing a meal.”
